Certificates of Competency (CoC)

Certificate of Competency and education requirements for navigators.

 

  • CoC Master Fisherman Class A, gives unlimited right to navigate Norwegian fishing vessel in unlimited areas. 
  • CoC Master Fisherman Class AB (new), gives right to navigate Norwegian fishing vessel of tonnage under 3000 in unlimited areas.
  • CoC Master Fisherman Class B, gives right to navigate Norwegian fishing vessel of tonnage under 500 in trading area limited to Bankfiske II. 
  • CoC Master Fisherman Class C, gives right to navigate Norwegian fishing vessel of overall lenght under 15 meters in trading area limited to Bankfiske I.
